The Michigan Department of Education requires school districts to provide detailed information on teacher quality, student assessment and accountability through an Annual Education Report (AER). The report covers the district as a whole, and each of its buildings.

The Annual Education Report is designed to meet the federal requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act for annual reporting.
